This annual event is scheduled for Wednesday 25th November, 1345-1700, in the Education Centre at Royal Preston Hospital. This year’s external guest speaker is Dr Craig Stiles, Wellcome Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology working with Professor Marta Korbonits at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London who will be speaking on the genetics of pituitary tumours. There will also be a talk from Dr Raj Kumar, consultant clinical oncologist at Royal Preston on the role of radiotherapy in pituitary tumours. In addition, Dr Uazman Allam, SpR in Endocrinology, will be talking on the relatively rare condition of inflammatory pseudotumour of the pituitary.
