Specialty Certificate Examination in Endocrinology and Diabetes Training Course

29th and 30th of March 2018

This is a two day intensive Endocrine and Diabetes SCE exam course delivered by expert consultants specialised in the field they cover. 14 sessions aiming at covering the curriculum. More than 250 new questions will be discussed. Mock exam will be on day 2 of the course.

Who should attend?

1-    SpRs in Diabetes and Endocrinology,

2-    CMTs who plan a career in this speciality,

3-    Chemical pathology and metabolic medicine trainees,

4-    Any other trainee or HCP who is planning to take the SCE exam or to improve his/her knowledge in diabetes and endocrinology.

5-    Primary care physicians/trainees and overseas doctors are welcome.

Who should attend?

SpRs in Endocrinology and Diabetes, CMTs who plan a career in Endocrinology and Diabetes,  Chemical Pathology and Metabolic Medicine trainees, any other UK based or overseas trainee or HCP who is intending to have a career in Diabetes and Endocrinology and/or planning to take the SCE exam or to improve his/her knowledge in Endocrinology and Diabetes. Primary care physicians/trainees and overseas doctors are welcome. The course provides an extensive review and update of all the Endocrinology and Diabetes curriculum.

  5. Registration fee is not refundable if cancellation after 14th March 2019.

Trainee Mandatory Education Days 2018

Please put the following dates in your diary as these are mandatory training days for the trainees in the region:

  1. Friday 13 April – Royal Preston Hospital, Education Centre (Mandatory Day). Dr Howell is kindly organising a full day for SpR teaching.
  2. Tuesday 26 June – Salford Royal Hospital (Mayo Building). This is the North West Endocrine Society day but there is a specific training programme for SpRs in the morning. The full day is part of mandatory teaching.
  3. 11 September 2018 – Manchester Royal Infirmary Postgrad Education Centre (mandatory).
